Program Schedule

12:30-4:30: CME: Incident Response Training

4:30-6:00pm: Social & Student Mentoring


About the CME Program

This training event will focus on how these Command and Management structures work, interact, and compliment one another in response to large incidents. The training will be hands-on using scenarios and a small two-part exercise to ensure participants not only understand the concepts, but have a chance to experience the coordination necessary to respond to large incidents. 4 Hours AOA 1-A CME


About the Student Mentor Event and Social

Meet the students and participate in our round-robin sessions designed to provide real-time opportunities for students and physicians to interact for potential mentorships. All participating physicians can earn 1 hour of CME for their participation.

 

Accreditation Statements:
This program is sponsored by the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon (OPSO), which is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. 

The program has been designated for a maximum of 4 AOA Category 1-A credits by the OPSO who is authorized to report CME and specialty credits to the AOA commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Planning Disclosure:
The OPSO Planning Committee has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing healthcare goods or services consumed by or used on patients relative to the content of these presentations.  

AOA Grievance Policy:
All grievances should be in writing and specify the nature of the grievance. Initially, all grievances should be directed to the OPSO executive director
. All grievances will receive an initial written response within 30 days of receipt. If a participant does not receive a satisfactory response, they can submit a complaint in writing to the Council on Continuing Medical Education of the AOA at 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611.
